This is a case of an acute episode of Bell�s palsy since 5 days after a sudden exposure to cold winds. This 26 year old male developed sudden weakness on the right side of his face with total loss of movements and sensation. His eyelids had drooped and so was his mouth. He was so stricken with fear and panic that he thought that he was going to die. He kept saying that now his whole body will be paralytic and that he will be dying soon enough. He was very scared at that time. He was prescribed Aconite and called after 3 days. The muscle tone was getting back to normal. He felt a lot better and his face was regaining its proper form.
