A 55 year old man had been diagnosed with moderate enlargement of prostate and was on conventional medicines since 9 months. He had been advised surgery. His main complaints were frequent urge to urination, burning in urine. He was stressed regarding some domestic issues involving his mother. He felt very embarrassed about it and could not share his feelings with anyone. On a little probing, he said all his life he had loved his parents and even now in their old age, he is doing best to take care of them. Despite his efforts, he was being hurt by his mother and this was very depressing for him. A dose of Nat Mur was given on basis of his totality of symptoms. The symptoms gradually improved and urination had become normal. 3 months after the treatment, he was advised repeat USG and it was found that the size of prostate was reduced. He continued treatment for further 6 months.
