35 year old male, a banker by profession, was diagnosed with hypertension by his GP when he went to him with a complaint of severe headache throughout the day with increasing intensity as the day progressed. He was advised some medications which he took for almost 3 months and yet he did not find any major relief in his headache. His blood pressure was 130/90 mm of Hg after taking the medicines.

Headache was mainly experienced forehead which would increase while he was out in the sun. Even fasting would increase his headache.

He came to seek homeopathic treatment as his complaints were just the same. He was a very strict, disciplinary person, who interacted only when required.

On the basis of his totality he was prescribed Nat Mur and was asked for a follow up after a week. With the medicines his headache was reduced within 5 days and he felt much better. The blood pressure was 120/80 mm of Hg. However, he was still continuing the anti hypertensive medicines.

His headache was also relieved which was a manifestation of the raised blood pressure.
