A 13-year-old adolescent was brought to us by his parents with symptoms of anger, aggressiveness. He did not obey his parents or teachers.

They mentioned that he had these symptoms since childhood but the family kept ignoring them as they thought these would improve as he grow up.

However, since the boy had entered teenage his symptoms had only increased and had become a huge concern for the family. Thus, they wanted to get him treated for the same.

His parents described him to be an authoritative personality, someone who did all the work independently on his own. He did not prefer instructions about anything and often lost temper if someone did so. This behavior was causing a lot of trouble at home as well as in school.

He also had a tendency to laugh at others. He made fun of his fellow classmates in school and this again led him into trouble at school.

A recent symptom that he had developed was that he started enjoying annoying others and often did things, which would make others around him angry. This had become a vicious cycle and his symptoms were showing no improvement in spite of counseling and behavior therapy.

Based upon his symptom picture, we gave him the Homoeopathic remedy Nux Vomica. His symptoms started reducing by the end of two months. He was much better by the end of one year.
