A 4-5 years old Indigenous breed of male street dog's case is reported to a Homeopath in August 2012, who had the third episode of reoccurrence of complete rectal prolapse. In the last 1 month, since the complaint was noticed, he had undergone corrective surgical procedure twice; where the protruded rectal mass was replaced back in the rectum and purse string sutures were taken by a local veterinarian doctor. But complaint kept reoccurring within few days of procedure, it was then this case was reported to a Homeopath.
He was an aggressive street dog and was eating well.
On receiving the report, and studying it well, the Homeopath advised to wash the protruded rectal mass with calendula lotion and insert it back in the rectum. He also prescribed for the dog Rescue flower remedy and Podophylum 30. After 6 days the dog was reported to have completely recovered from his recurring complaints of rectal prolapse.
Thus we see how correct Homeopathic remediation rectifies the infirmity in an Indian street dog with recurrent rectal prolapse.
