This is a case of a 58 year old male patient diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. He had complaints of left sided facial pain since last 2 years. Pain was spasmodic, intermittent and repeated at regular intervals. The left side of the face, teeth and eyes were affected. Pain was severe despite the use of conventional medicines. Pain aggravated when he was exposed to cold weather. He stated that whenever he would have pain, he felt as if he will die, so much was its intensity. He would get anxious and scared to death. Any episode would come on suddenly and violently. Based on his complete totality, he was prescribed Aconite. This wonderful homeopathic remedy for trigeminal neuralgia helped him tremendously. The pain in the face had reduced by 30 percent within the 2 weeks. He developed faith in homeopathy and continued it for another 6 months. Doses of conventional medicines were reduced. By the end of treatment, he had felt completely better.
