A three year old male was brought by his mother with complaints of depigmented itchy spots on scalp and forehead for the last 2 months. He had been to a dermatologist who suggested him Betnesol forte, Vitilo, Ostocalcium, Stemin, Zentil and applied Flutivate ointment.

Patient was advised skin scraping and culture on 17/05/2011. KOH mount showed presence of fungal mycelium and culture isolated was identified as Candida albicans.

Child on examination appeared to be a shy person. Whenever he was being questioned, he would give a smile and would look down. His mother reported that he doesn't t get mix up easily with any strangers. He has fear of animals, ghosts and darkness.

He had great desires for eggs and would easily perspire on head and palms.
