This is a case of a 5 year old male child who was diagnosed with enlarged adenoids. He suffered from recurrent nose block alternating with nasal discharge, which was thick white to sometimes yellowish in colour. He frequently suffered from fever and sore throat too.
He felt hungry very easily, but would not be able to eat enough. He sometimes had trouble passing stools and would often scream while passing. His mother told that he would keep his mouth open while he was asleep.
He is an only child delivered through a C-Section without any complications. He was relatively normal for first year, but started getting frequent upper respiratory tract infections for which he had been given too many conventional medicines.
This boy is very sharp, intelligent and learnt new things very easily. He loved playing outdoor games, and had a habit of dominating other kids. He was prescribed Lycopodium 200. He came with his parents the next month and all his symptoms were relieved.
After 4 months, he is still in a perfect state of health and does not suffer from nose block and sore throat anymore. His mouth breathing has also stopped indicating that the inflammation of adenoids has subsided.
