A 31-year-old female consulted us for the treatment of infertility. She was diagnosed with this condition five years ago and no other form of treatment seemed to help her. She mentioned that since teenage she always had irregular menses and now since the past five years her menses appeared every ten days with episodes of heavy bleeding.
She added that she suffers from severe pain at the time of periods. The pain, she described, used to be so severe that it used to disrupt her day-to-day activities. The pain increased before the flow of menses started. She also added that along with the pain and bleeding she experienced great weakness.
She said that she had a constant bruised and sore feeling at the time of periods and used to become pale and had a history of one episode of fainting spell as well. Once the menses stopped, she would become better and the weakness as well as the feeling of soreness ceased.
She was prescribed the Homoeopathic remedy Nat-Mur for her complaints. She showed gradual improvement over a period of time. Her periods became regular by the end of ten months of treatment and she was able to conceive by the end of eighteen months of regular medication.
