A 62-year-old male consulted us with hoarseness which was there since the past 10 years.

It started after an episode of viral fever and he has never been well since then. He described the hoarseness to be worse in the evenings.

He added that it was painless and was associated with occasional spells of long coughing attacks.

He also described a peculiar symptom; he felt that his breath was cold every time he inhaled. He had deep rough voice, which was worse on slight exertion.
