24 year old male had a chief complaint of buzzing sound in the ears since last 3 years. He had been using earphones for a very long time and listened to music when he was young. He had started experiencing some ringing in the ears 4-5 years back, but he ignored it. Now since last 3 years, the ringing and buzzing were continuous along with 25 percent loss of hearing. He has stopped the use of ear phones now. He had a tendency to catch colds very easily and his condition intensified when he suffered from cold which also caused ear pain. He was prescribed Calc Flour. Within 4 weeks, the tinnitus had started to improve. There was no more ringing or buzzing. After 2 months, hearing was getting better marginally and was persuaded to continue homeopathy. Indeed after a year of treatment, the hearing was finally restored and the tinnitus disappeared.
