Diagnosis: Multiple Uterine Fibroids of variable sizes

36 year old actress reported with a complaint of profuse bleeding during menses lasting for 8-9 days. She also complained of passage of clots with a lot of discomfort during the menses; she would not be able to bear the discomfort and would feel very weak. Ultrasonography had confirmed the diagnosis of multiple fibroids of variable sizes in the uterus.

The patient was unmarried and during the case taking, it was found that she had an affair with a married man. He was an established actor and nearly twice her age when the affair started.
