Dietary Habits:
- Avoid foods that are fat-rich, spicy and acidic.
- Avoid mint, chocolate, citrus fruits and tomato sauce.
- Consumption of raw onion and tomatoes need to be restricted.
- Also avoid caffeinated and carbonated beverages.
- Eat smaller meals at regular intervals.
- Prefer a gluten-free diet. Gluten rich foods are wheat, refined flour, semolina and should be avoided.
- sleeping pattern: Never lie down immediately after eating. Wait for at least 3 hours before lying down, and prefer to lie down on your left side. Elevate the bed to at least 4-6 inches.
- Keep a check on your medications.
- Quit Smoking and Alcohol consumption.
