Prevention of Migraine
  • An attack of Migraine comes on, to a great extent, as a result of erroneous lifestyle like inadequate sleep patterns, staying hungry for long periods of time, physical and mental overexertion, etc. And so, maintaining a disciplined lifestyle goes a long way in preventing migraine.
  • An aid to having a healthy lifestyle is adopting meditation as a way of life. Meditation performed for just a few minutes every day helps to prevent hours and days of suffering.
  • Lastly, being aware of the symptoms that come on BEFORE an attack is the strongest way to prevent an attack.
  • Most people experience irritability, tiredness and changes in mood one or two days before an episode. Once you recognize these harbingers, you can take necessary steps to ease the episode.
