Conjunctivitis can be easily diagnosed by -
- Symptoms of the patient - It is useful to differentiate between viral and bacterial infection
- Eye Examination- To look for any discharges , redness and swelling
- Culture And Sensitivity Tests- In case of severe conjunctivitis, eye secretions are sent to identify the causative organisms.
