Infertility is inability to conceive in spite of unprotected sexual intercourse for a year. When a man is unable to make his fertile partner pregnant, in spite of unprotected intercourse for a year, it is called Male Infertility. Infertility accounts for nearly 15% couples and male factor is responsible in about 20-40% cases.
Male infertility can be due to following conditions:
- Azoospermia - Absence of sperms in semen
- Oligospermia - Less number of sperms in semen
- Teratospermia - Sperms with abnormal morphology/structure
- Asthenozoospermia - Reduced sperm motility
