Lymph node: is an oval-shaped organ of the lymphatic system, distributed widely throughout the body linked by lymphatic vessels. Here lymph is filtered and lymphocytes are formed.
Lymphadenopathy: A disease affecting the lymph nodes marked by swelling of the lymph node
Malaise: A condition of general body weakness or discomfort
Incubation Period: The period between exposure to an infection and the appearance of symptoms
Prodromal Phase: An early set of symptoms that indicate the start of a disease before the specific symptoms occur
Immuno-compromised: A person whose immune system is impaired or weak. Such people are more prone to catching infections.
