- RUBELLA- Also known as "German Measles" or "3 day fever". It is a contagious viral infection just like measles also characterized by red skin rash but is less infectious and less severe. Fever and rash are accompanied by flu like symptoms and enlargement of post occipital lymphnodes.
- Infectious mononucloeoiss- It is a condition caused by Epstein Bar virus characterized by sore throat, gray pharyngeal exudates, lymphadenopathy and hepatosplenomegaly.
- Meningococcemia- In this rash appears within 24 hours with fever, vomiting, neck stiffness and irritability
