Diagnosis and Tests

There are no definite diagnostic criteria for Fibromyalgia, neither are there any tests to identify the disease.

Diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is purely made by the history, signs and symptoms given by the patient.

However, tests should be done to rule out any other diseases, after which a diagnosis is made. These tests could be various blood tests of a complete blood picture, and some immunity tests to rule out auto-immune disorders.
