Some conditions which are more or less similar to HAIRFALL are -
- Anaemia: Low levels of haemoglobin in blood may cause Hair Fall, which may be temporary. It gets better when anaemia is treated.
- Psoriasis- This is characterized by well defined lesions which are large, dry, thick, scaly and silvery lesions. They can also affect the scalp causing hair fall.
- Ringworm- It is the fungal infection of scalp. It is characterized by itchiness, scaly, bald patches on head.
- Eczema- A skin condition which is chronic in nature, characterized by roughness, blister, formation with itching and redness. It can present on scalp too.
