• Maintain good genital hygiene.
• Wear loose cotton clothing.
• Do not indulge in sexual contact with infected person.
• Avoid multiple sexual partners.
• Condoms reduce but do not completely eliminate the risk of transmission or contraction of infection.
• Avoid oral genital contact with infected person.
• Do not touch the lesions with bare hands. Wash your hands with soap water if you touch the lesions.
