CAUSES OF MENOPAUSE & ITS PROBLEMS
- Menopause is natural part of ageing in all women . Menopause happens to all women around 40 to 50 years of age. When the production of oestrogen decreases from the ovaries it gives rise to many unpleasant symptoms.
- Menopause can be seen in younger women due to Premature Ovarian Failure . Rarely early menopause is seen in ladies with diseases like PCOS, endometriosis, carcinomas.
- Menopause can also be induced surgically where both the ovaries are removed (oopherectomy). Such menopause is termed as Surgical Menopause which is done due to various causes.
