Though, these symptoms are not experienced by every woman, few women suffer from one or more than one symptom. Menopause is the end of menstrual cycles. It is a natural biological process which also signifies end of natural ability of bearing children in woman. But sexual life of woman is not affected.

Perimenopause is the time period around final cessation of menses (i.e. menopause) where there is fluctuation of hormones, leading to menopause. Symptoms or problems of menopause starts during this period and may stop or continue at menopause. It marks roadway towards the end of reproductive life.

Post-menopause is the time after menopause has set in till end.
