- Consume enough calcium, soy products and iron rich foods.
- Quit smoking and drinking.
- Deal with your relationship issues (if any). Take professional help if needed. .
- Most importantly share your sexual concerns with your partner and doctor.
- Kegel exercises (exercise as if you are holding your urine) are useful to prevent urinary incontinence.
- Regularly keep tab on your bone health, go for bone densitometry test if advised by doctor.
- Other preventive tests include mammography (breast screening), lipid profile screening, thyroid testing, colonoscopy, pelvic examination.
