  • Avoid hurting your mouth. Use soft bristle toothbrush. Brush gently.
  • Maintain good mouth hygiene.
  • Avoid sharp foods, ill fitting dentures which may hurt the mouth.
  • Avoid habits like biting cheeks, chewing pens or pencils.
  • If certain foods are causing recurrent ulcers it is better to avoid them.
  • Avoid eating or drinking very hot food items.
  • Maintain good immunity with healthy and balanced diet and regular exercise
  • Avoid stress. Practice yoga, meditation .
  • Visit dentist for routine check ups.
